LIMITED WARRANTY

 

Thank you for purchasing Exhale Fan. This limited warranty states the terms and conditions for the purchase of the Exhale Fan unit within Singapore only. This product (“Product”) has been tested and is in good working condition at the time of delivery. 

 

The Warranty Period commences on the date the Product is delivered. In residential applications, the Warranty Period for the motor is for 60 months. In non-residential applications, the Warranty Period for the motor is 36 months. For other components and accessories, the Warranty Period is twenty four months unless otherwise noted below. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MADE WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OF ITS COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES IS DISCLAIMED AND REPLACED BY THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.

 
Terms and Conditions:

 

1. Requirements

 

1.1 Kindly keep a copy of your Invoice / Purchase Receipt as proof of purchase.

1.2 Please produce your Invoice / Purchase Receipt when repair or service is required.

 

1.3 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd reserves its right to void the Warranty in case of altered or defaced Invoice / Purchase Receipt. (where applicable)

 

1.4 For repairs of the product after the warranty period, the customer is also required to produce the original purchase invoice. Charges for all services provided will be determined by Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd.

2. Coverage

2.1 This Warranty covers (a) faulty materials and (b) manufacturing defects for a period of two years from Purchase (except for the fan motor part which comes with 60 months warranty for residential and 36 months warranty for commercial.) Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd reserves its right to inspect and test the Product for the purpose of determining the extent of any defect and the validity of any claim made under this Warranty.

 

2.2 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd’s limited warranty provides 12 months onsite warranty for all internal parts at the premise where it was first installed, except for faulty remote controller. For warranty claim of remote controller, Customer is required to exchange the faulty remote with a new remote at the service centre.

 

2.3 This Warranty covers purchases only in Singapore through Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd or its authorised dealers. The Warranty does not extend to Products purchased through Carousell, or other non-authorised internet-based auction or retail sites or mobile applications. 2.4 This Warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be assigned to any third party.

 

2.5 The installation of the Product must follow our instruction manual. Otherwise, the Warranty shall be void. This Warranty does not cover any noise or sound as a result of improper fan installation(s) on false ceiling. For installation/repairs of Products above 3 meters high; the Customer is required to pay additional fees starting from $100, subjected to actual site height. Scaffolding must be provided by the Customer when necessary.

 

2.6 The Product must be maintained in its original point of installation for the validity of the Warranty. Successive transfers of the Product may result to damage to the Product and its component.

 

2.7 The serial number of the Product must not be tampered with, erased, defaced or altered, otherwise the Warranty shall be void.

 

2.8 During the Warranty Period, and when this product is verified by Company to be defective (due to faulty design, workmanship or materials only and not for any other reason whatsoever), Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd will undertake to repair or replace any defective parts or material, solely at our discretion.

3. Exclusions

3.1 This Warranty does not cover the following:

 

a. Normal wear and tear, corrosion, damage, rusting, or stains.

b. Malfunctions, losses, defects, or damages resulting from acts of god, civil unrest and or accidents.

 

c. Usage not in accordance with the Installation or Operation manuals.

 

d. Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage.

 

e. Faulty installation by untrained/non-in-house trained electricians or mishandling.

 

f. Obstruction caused to access the electrical parts or products. (e.g. ceiling board / false ceiling)

 

g. Scratches, dents, cracks, balancing of fan, switch control, lighting bulbs, power point and power plug, including damages as a result of accidents, or as a result of throwing items at the fan, or into the vortex fan core.

h. Damage caused by connecting the product to a dimmer, regulator, or IC control.

 

4. Other Terms

4.1 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd will bear the cost of transport and service charge only within the first year of the Warranty Period except for faulty remote controller.

 

4.2 For servicing of the Product from second year onwards, the Customer will bear the cost of transport and service charge. Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd reserves its right to impose additional charges for dismantling and re-installation of the Product when necessary. For servicing from the third year onwards due to causes other than fan motor defects, the Customer will bear the cost of transport, service charge and costs of components or parts.

 

4.3 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd will use reasonable commercial endeavours to have all necessary spare parts available for the purpose of the Warranty. However, Exhale Fan S.E.A. Pte Ltd shall not be liable for delays due to sourcing of parts which are required or due to circumstances beyond the control of the Company.

4.4 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to person, property or animal resulting from failure to comply with our instruction manual. Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages, due to product failure, whether arising out of breach of warranty, breach of contract or otherwise.

4.5 Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd’s decisions on all issues relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or material shall be conclusive and final and the Customer agrees to abide by such a decision. The Warranty stated herein shall be limited within the Warranty Period.

4.6 All customers are advised to contact Exhale Fan S.E.A Pte Ltd to conduct regular examination of the fan suspension system. It is recommended that customers do this once every two years. Fees will apply accordingly.

4.7 All Exhale Fans which are sold and installed are strictly non-refundable.

4.8 The terms and conditions of this Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in the determination of any matter or dispute arising in connection therewith.
